We picked the right DJ! Loren was a key vendor at our Laurel Hall wedding. His music platform was easy to work within pre-wedding and the song list never ending! During the wedding, Loren facilitated many announcements to get our party going from activity to activity. Even when we veered off schedule a bit, Loren was so calm and professional and worked everything out behind the scenes. I was not worried about the music for a minute of the pre-planning or day of. Loren is very familiar with Laurel Hall as a venue too and offered excellent suggestions on set up and speaker needs. I would highly recommend Loren to any bride and groom!

As this was my second marriage, I felt I knew a little more about what I wanted from my wedding vendors. My first wedding was 10 years ago. I didn't really know what I was doing in planning it, but we survived! LOL. This time around I wanted to be sure and did more research of the vendors. I went beyond the first page or two of their online reviews. I was looking for vendors who had a majority of strong reviews. I know that their can be some "bridezillas" with questionable reviews. You definitely can't please every one. I know, I work in retail. LOL. I very carefully looked at the vendors websites. I wanted to really get a strong feeling about the professionalism of the vendors. Like many brides, I've heard horror stories of weddings that were totaled due to one or two bad choices in vendors. Eric and I DEFINITELY wanted to avoid that. After doing my "due diligence", I decided to reach out to the vendors whom I thought looked good. Loren was not the first DJ I reached out to. I actually contacted 6 DJs. Two of them didn't even bother to call me back. One of them was just very strange, after speaking to him. The other two either had prices that I thought was very overpriced, and seemed to just be interested in adding my wedding as a knotch on their wedding client belt. No thanks! Soooo, that brings me to DJ Rock My World. Loren actually responded SUPER fast to my online request. I think he responded in like 13 minutes, which was impressive. When I got on the phone with Loren, I was ready for the sales pitch. However, I was surprised that he didn't do that. SHOCK! LOL. Loren asked me to give him my vision for the day; basically, how I thought the event would go. After I did, he asked several questions regarding the guests, the type of wedding (we wanted a casual atmosphere), and more. At that point, Loren told us about the package he thought would fit our needs. It turned out to be the Gold package (ceremony and reception). Although the package covered 6 hours (I think), I asked he about purchasing extra hours. The event was at my parents' house, so we could party as long as we wanted. Yahoo! Surprisingly, Loren advised me not to purchase extra hours upfront as he didn't want me to pay for something I might not need. I appreciated that consideration. Well, we signed up. I was able to put all my wedding details and wants into his online system. It was cool because I could specifically plan each part of our special day. Eric really appreciated this too. He's an accountant and liked the detail. Also, about a month before the event, Loren called us and we went through everything on the system to make sure it was correct. That was great because although I put down the processional song I wanted; I didn't indicate which version. I actually wanted the acoustic guitar cover version of All of Me, so that was a good catch on Loren's part.  As you can imagine, I was a bundle of nerves on my wedding day. So many things going on. It was a blessing that Loren got there super early. He got with our other vendors to ensure they were all talking and communicating. It was helpful, because it made me more relaxed and Loren handled the issue with the caterer being a little late very well with the guests. Whew! Needless to say, everything went very well. I had guests during and after our wedding day comment on Loren's professionalism and the AWESOME music he played to keep the dancefloor full. My mom even told me that she gave him a big hug at the end of the night to thank him personally. DJ Rock My World really exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend.

The thing I noticed was that he was never pushy like a "car salesman", like some of the other DJs we spoke to. Loren even held the date for us to give us time to discuss it and make our decision. Once Judy and I decided and contacted him, he immediately sent the DJ agreement. This agreement was very well detailed. We liked that. Judy and I wanted to know what we were getting. Loren even had contingencies for anything that might happen unexpectedly. That was cool. Once I signed the agreement, returned it, and paid the online invoice, Loren immediately sent the code for us to log into the Online Music Planning center to get started. His online system enabled us to plan every part of the wedding including the music, the flow, the people involved, and all the activities. As he described it, it was his "roadmap" for the day. I think it was about two weeks before the event, Loren contacted us. He sent a PDF version of our entries in his system. We went over every aspect, which was good because Judy and I missed one or two important things. Planning a wedding is very busy! LOL. When our special day came, Loren arrived three hours early, he set up two of his sound systems. One outside for the ceremony, and his main system inside. He included wireless mics, which was helpful. Also, the inside setup had great sound, dancefloor lights AND uplights (which we thought were a cool bonus). Loren did something that we did not expect. Judy and I did not hire a Day Of Coordinator (which we should have done  Oopps!). Loren stepped in and coordinated with our caterer, officiant, and photographer to make sure everyone was able to work together. He did a good job, as it all went together seamlessly. From the ceremony, to the cocktail, hour, through dinner, and the rest of the reception, it couldn't have went better. Loren even took time to make sure the folks doing our toasts knew the best place to stand and how to hold the mic. Who knew! We were very impressed during the open dancing section. Loren did what he called "live mixing". He had explained to us previously that he wouldn't just put on some songs. This meant a lot to the reception. He would actively keep the dancefloor going with our selected songs, guest requests, and popular songs. Loren did just that. All in all, Judy and I think we made a great choice in DJs. His attention to detail and passion for what he does really shows. We've received some emails from our friends that enjoyed our wedding. A special day to remember for sure! :-)

DJ Rock My World provided us great service from before the event and making sure everything was prepared, before and during the event. He worked with the other vendors onsite to make sure our special day came off without a hitch. DJ Rock My World's MCing and song selections were a big hit with our family and friends on the dancefloor. Couldn't have picked a better DJ.

I can't say enough good things about how awesome our experience was with DJ Rock My World. We had a blast and so did all of guests. Loren kept the party going and he went above and beyond to help with other things like coordinating with our venue, photographer, caterer, and even the bartender. He did this to make sure everyone worked together for our special day and it worked! Loren kept the dance floor packed all night long and we could not be happier with his performance. BTW, the photobooth was a BIG hit with our guests! Highly recommend DJ Rock My World!

It was so nice to work with a DJ who really cared about us and our wedding day! He always responds quickly to my texts and emails, in like in minutes! Loren was able to work with our special requests. He also helped mic up our guitarist during the ceremony, so his guitar and voice was clearly heard during the ceremony. When it came to our First Dance and special dances, Loren played exactly what we requested, and his dancefloor lighting was very cool and just added to the mood. I'll always remember that. Can't go wrong with this DJ. He's a Pro!

He had a great selection of music when I didn't specify what I wanted. He provided flip flops to the bridesmaids and bottle openers to the groomsmen which was a nice touch. He also provided these foam glow sticks that were so much fun to dance with. I am so thankful we hired him! He is the only vendor through COVID-19 who didn't cancel on us last minute or give us any issues through the pandemic!

We gave him opportunities for creative control during parts of our ceremony and he did a great job! We had a special dance that needed songs mixed together and he worked on that prior to the wedding and sent it to us for approval so that everything would go off without a hitch the day of the wedding. He managed to get more people out on the dance floor than we ever could have imagined and everyone kept telling us about how great the music was in the days after the wedding. He even had gifts for the wedding party and family, which was very sweet and our wedding party really appreciated them.

He was able to accommodate last minute changes for me and his personality really helped keep parts of the wedding that should've been stressful stress free! DJ rock my world helped us throw a wedding of a lifetime. He was prompt with meeting us as well as communication and with helping find the best selection of music for our wedding. DJ rock my work kept everything in check for our wedding allowing us to have the time of our lives while we relaxed and enjoyed our day. Him and his daughter were very professional and did everything they said they would, no gimmicks, no shortcuts just a great DJ. If you're having a wedding in the Indianapolis area I'd high recommend DJ rock my world!!!!!

Loren was absolutely wonderful on our LGBTQ+ wedding day! Before he was even scheduled to begin, he was going above and beyond. He helped our bridal party and location coordinator arrange the venue for the ceremony in between his own set-up time (even though he was only booked for the reception). Once the reception began, he made sure to check in with us before anything began in case the timeline had changed. On top of being very professional and having a strong work ethic, he was fantastic at keeping the crowd hyped! All in all, we highly recommend!

Loren was fantastic! Like most weddings, not everything goes right, and he was able to come up with a game plan that would keep the guests entertained while the food was delayed. We have an eclectic music taste, and he got everyone out dancing! We definitely recommend him for your wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about DJ Rock My World. Not only was he able to help me with a non-profit event on short notice, he was my savior during the event. I came down with the flu the day of our event and texted to tell him I was running late and sick. When I arrived he was fully set up and entertaining the volunteers that were already there. During the event he ask for a schedule. He made sure everyone knew when our events were happening, kept guests entertained and made it super fun for kids too. I was very grateful to have him helping me keep the event running smoothly while I was too sick to. And he did it all without anyone asking it of him. Highly recomend. Great DJ and a caring man!

Very professional very friendly. Very thorough and helped me with quite a bit of my wedding planning. They are very knowledgeable about How the wedding should take place. They were able to play good mix of music and get the people dancing! They were a huge help in keeping The wedding on time, and at one point Loren stepped in to help in all the chaos of trying to keep things going! He gave us the added bonus of being an impromptu wedding director! would definitely recommend and would definitely use his services again!

My husband and I were just recently married and heard about DJ Rock My World from a friend of mine. He did not disappoint! From his extensive online music planner to his friendliness day-of, I definitely do not second guess my choice. He came through on everything we had asked for, helped in making announcements, and kept the dance floor busy!
